Ian Aesthes is a Los Angeles–based artist working across photography and image-based media. His work examines the presence of individuals within large-scale social, architectural, and technological systems.
Through large-scale photographic constructions and extended investigations of space and time, Aesthes explores how contemporary image systems shape perception, collective experience, and human difference.
He is currently pursuing a BFA in Photography and Media at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
